Organ Donation saves the life of an individual today and is the highest and best use of anatomical donation. Thousands of people are waiting for heart, kidney, lung or other organ transplants.
Tissue Donation (transplant) improves an individual’s life today. This includes skin grafts for burn victims, ligaments or tendons for joint reconstruction or restoring eyesight.
Whole Body Donation (non-transplant) supports medical education and research. Donation to medical schools allows future doctors to understand human anatomy.
